Hi there! As you know we write in one way and we speak in other way. In unit 1 we are going to start learning the sounds of English. We are going to start with VOWELS (las vocales). In spanish we have 5 vowels and 5 different sounds. In english we have 5 vowels and 12 different sounds! Can you believe it?
I post here a phonetics chart about the 12 english vowels. In our next class I will explain this and we will do activities to remember the word and the sound.
One more thing. I'm preparing a PPT (PowerPoint) about the vowels. As soon as I finish I will post the PPT here so you can see it before the lesson.
